Description
The grapes for this blend—comprising 65% Furmint and 35% Hárslevelű—were harvested at the usual time, in mid-September, from the six-year-old vineyard in the Kővágó-dűlő site. Following gentle processing and pressing, nearly 40% of the batch was fermented and aged in large-format, third-fill French oak barrels.
This is a significant wine that already hints at serious potential; it displays a character defined by green herbs and medicinal botanicals, complemented by subtle notes of almond and freshly baked pastries. It features vibrant acidity and a saline quality. A taut, focused wine with a long finish.
