Heumann Winery

Wine is our passion and profession, and quality is our main principle, say Evelyne and Erhard Heumann, a Swiss-German couple, owners of the Heumann Winery. Cabernet Franc and local Kékfrankos are the winery’s flagship varieties. Both varieties are also used in blends. Syrah, Kadarka and even Riesling are grown on the estate. Their 15 hectares of vines, mainly south-facing and located on a plateau, are mainly found in the Siklós district. More than 90% of their vineyards are classified as Premium according to the Villány Protected Origin System – DHC (Districtus Hungaricus Controllatus).
