Bussay Winery is among the few to have championed this old Hungarian red grape variety, which was highly popular in Hungary during the 19th century. It displays a deep ruby-red hue with shimmering ruby highlights. The nose offers a unique interplay of red berries, cherry, currant, tobacco, and forest floor—firmly evoking the character of Kadarka and Pinot Noir. On the palate, it is magnificent, boasting a taut structure and a medley of fleshy berry fruits accompanied by distinctive earthy notes—a true feast of flavors and a veritable firework display on the tongue.
