Description
The small family business is located in the central, eastern part of Italy, in the Marche province, a few kilometers from the coast. They mainly deal with autochthonous grape varieties and make impressive wines with an excellent price/value ratio. Fontana Fullon is a blend of rosso piceno, i.e. sangiovese and montepulciano. A true Mediterranean red wine with an exciting, intensely fruity aroma. The taste is plummy, with a ripe cherry character. Its tannins and acids are soft and round. A true conversational wine, but it can also be paired excellently with grilled meats, ragouts, and salamis.
