Description
The flagship wine of this Saint-Émilion estate—a blend of 85% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc, and 5% Carménère. It originates from sandy, gravelly subsoils and vines that are relatively young, with a maximum age of 20 years. Following hand-harvesting, the wine was fermented in steel tanks and subsequently aged for 10 months in new 255-liter French oak barrels. The nose offers red berries and sweet spices, while the palate reveals ripe plum, vibrant acidity, and elegant oak notes. Although already outstanding, it is well worth cellaring.
