Made from Grand Cru Chardonnay, Delamotte Blanc de Blancs is an absolute purity, the winemaking process takes place in stainless steel tanks. Blanc de Blancs is a mineral sparkling wine, whose chalky feel is achieved by the addition of a modest amount of reserve wine (maximum 10%). This special taste experience is the essence of our vineyard and the Chardonnays grown in pure chalk soil. Yes, the wines can be a bit harsh when young, which is why the aging on the lees - much longer than the legal fifteen months - is extended to four to five years before disgorging.
