Description
Located in the heart of the Côte Chalonnaise, south of the Côte de Beaune, the Mercurey vineyards are planted primarily with Pinot Noir, with Chardonnay grown in only a few locations. The vineyards are situated on east-facing slopes with marl and limestone soils.
At Chanson, the harvest began on September 5th in brilliant sunshine and concluded on September 16th. The white wines are highly expressive, featuring aromas of white-fleshed fruits and a beautiful structure.
Pale gold in color. Floral aromas mingle with notes of citrus and yellow-fleshed fruits, alongside hints of light toast. Balanced and complex. Dense, taut texture. Well-integrated oak notes (16 months). Long, fresh finish.
