Description
It was created by crossing 2 clones, one is an Austrian variety, which has larger oval grapes and produces a more acidic wine with a purple color. The other area has a French clone, which produces smaller grapes and a true ruby color. It is much softer, therefore lower in acidity. We made two wines separately, tasted them together, then came to the conclusion that the two complement each other perfectly and finally married them, thus creating the Grandiózus Syrah, which of course is subject to a limited harvest.
