Description
Golden yellow color, with fruity and intensely spicy notes. In the mouth, it is rich and round, dominated by stone fruits and honey with a flattering balance. It is characterized by excellent ripeness, a creamy, rich texture, with a clean, long-lasting finish. After a cool January, the temperature rose gradually and steadily. High summer temperatures resulted in early ripening and fruiting. The vintage is outstanding for both dry and sweet wines: perfect balance on the dry and incredible richness on the sweet. As a result of the selected harvest in October and early November, the overripe and half botrytis-cured furmint bunches were pressed after berrying. After fermentation, the wine was aged for 15 months in our traditional cellar, in 300-liter Zemplén second- and third-fill oak barrels. We recommend it on its own chilled to 12°C, or even with foie gras. It is an excellent accompaniment to spicy Asian cuisine, caramel or fresh fruit desserts. Sugar: 172 g/l Acid: 6.86 g/l
