Description
The story of Champagne Taittinger began with Jacques Fourneaux, who started trading red and white wines from the Champagne region in Reims in 1734; he later expanded his portfolio to include sparkling wines, becoming the third merchant to recognize the potential of Champagne.
"Prélude" is crafted from an equal blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, sourced entirely from the finest Grand Cru vineyards as classified by the Champagne appellation system.
Visually, it displays brilliant golden hues and a vibrant sparkle, accentuated by a delicate string of fine bubbles. The nose offers fresh, mineral aromas and notes of spring blossoms. On the palate, flavors of citrus, exquisite florals, and white-fleshed fruits meld into a creamy texture, creating a sensation almost akin to syrup. Its long finish fills the entire mouth. Boasting complex aromas, it is a true treasure.
