Description
This area once belonged to the Somló vineyards of the Pannonhalma Benedictine Abbey—specifically, the land stretching behind the Abbey’s cellar in Celldömölk. It is an extremely steep site—difficult to traverse even on foot—dotted with micro-terraces and situated directly beneath basalt organ pipes; it boasts a unique microclimate and remarkable soil that is stony yet rich. The vineyard is planted with a mix of Juhfark, Olaszrizling, Hárslevelű, and Tramini, all harvested together. It yields a wine of extraordinary flavor profile and structure.
