Description
When one thinks of elegant white wines, Chardonnay is surely among the first names that come to mind. We sought to build upon this widely held perception—and, indeed, to elevate it to a higher level. The vintage provided excellent ripening conditions for this grape variety; following malolactic fermentation and regular stirring on fine lees, a full-bodied white wine was created. Both fermentation and aging took place in new barrique barrels, utilizing the *bâtonnage* technique.
