Vylyan Winery
Vylyan is one of the largest wineries in the Villány wine region. They cultivate about 120 hectares in the Dobogó, Mandolás, Pillangó, Városhegy and Gombás vineyards. The estate manager is Mónika Debreczeni, while István Ipacs Szabó has been winemaker for many years. The winerys portfolio, viticulture and winemaking ideas are well thought out, with their range including Chardonnay, Riesling, Olaszrizling, Portugieser, Kékfrankos, Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon, Syrah and Csókaszőlő, but they also make a frizzante and, of course, many blends. In the cooler parts of the Gombás vineyard, even Pinot Noir can produce fine wines.
