Description
A selection of the Italian Riesling plantation planted at the end of the 1950s. The name "Karós" refers to the method of cultivation, this is what my grandparents called their vines cultivated only with stakes. Only 1,000 bottles of special wine are produced from the 0.5 hectare each vintage. Basalt is harvested by hand on Gulács Mountain from maladic, compact soil, it ferments and matures in 500-liter new oak barrels for 6 months, and is then marketed after a year of aging in bottles.
