Skrabski Borászat
The Skrabski Winery is located at the top of the Balaton Uplands, near Balatonudvari, with a picturesque view of the Tihany Peninsula. The winery was launched professionally in April 2007. Their philosophy is based on sustainable farming, so their wines are made with spontaneous fermentation and minimal intervention, resulting in low histamine and sorbitol content. The estate's vineyard area is small, but the best batches are selected to ensure premium quality. It is primarily known for its white wines, with Kékfrankos offering a red alternative to Olaszrizling, Furmint, Rajnai Rizling, and Welschriesling. Réka Szántai, a winemaker who brings fresh ideas, joined the winery in 2024. The winery places great emphasis on biodiversity: the vineyards are certified organic and the wines are vegan-friendly.
