Serre di Pederiva
World-class prosecco wines are produced in the Valdobbiadene area of the Veneto region in northern Italy. In the 1950s, Italian couple Camillo Pederiva and Rosa Mattiola purchased several abandoned, uncultivated plots of land in this area. The name and image of their estate were inspired by the three hills that dominate the landscape and create a microclimate ideal for producing high-quality wines. The second generation, Marco and Luca, later joined the family business. After numerous developments, the area has now grown to 17 hectares, where all processes are still carried out by hand, using human labor. The wines produced here meet one of the highest Italian classifications, DOCG. Due to the steep slopes and wooded areas, the Serre vineyards remain largely untouched, which is conducive to traditional winemaking. Their range includes premium sparkling wines, proseccos, and a few still wines.
