Chateau Figeac

Château Figeac is a Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé “A” estate, one of the most prestigious wineries on the right bank of Bordeaux. The history of the estate dates back to Roman times, and today they farm about 40 hectares. Its unique terroir – gravelly-sandy soil – makes it particularly suitable for growing Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, in contrast to the dominance of Merlot typical of the area. The wines are long-lived, elegant and richly structured. The winery follows biodynamic principles and aims to preserve natural balance.
