Description
Half in French oak barrels and half in tanks. The aroma is lush, creamy, caramel. The fruitiness appears in the taste, with apple, melon, pear and crème brulée closing the sip. The aftertaste also lasts long. The grapes come from the Monterey Country growing area, where the night and early morning cooling preserves the acids and fruitiness. A little Viognier was added to the wine in addition to the Chardonnay, which is what gives it the floral notes.
