Description
Features fantastic aromas of ripe apple and pear, with notes of lemon zest and chalky minerality. Fresh, lively, and dry on the palate, the flavors balance the aromatics, supported by truly pleasant acidity. It pairs well with rich seafood dishes but is also delightful on its own.
Moillard is historically based in Nuits-Saint-Georges, in the Côte de Nuits. Old documents from Nuits-Saint-Georges attest that the Moillard family owned vineyards even before the French Revolution. The estate began to flourish from 1850 onwards, and today Moillard ranks among the top five Burgundy wineries. It manages 49 hectares of vineyards across the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune, with Premier Cru sites accounting for 50% of the holdings.
