Description
2022 was extremely hot and dry. However, the abundance of sunshine resulted in beautiful grape flavors and aromas. The name Kirschner Kékfrankos refers to both tradition and aroma (cherry). Éva Kirschner was the maiden name of Csaba Koch’s Swabian grandmother. She was the woman who helped Csaba start his winemaking journey with her husband István Koch when he was young. They also gave him his first vineyard in Hajós.
The harvest was very concentrated due to the vintage, so a thick, special premium wine with a high extract content was made from it.
