The tannins are characteristic of the variety – and thanks to the new barrel maturation – marked, but the wine also shows nice harmony and roundness. The aroma is typical of the variety, with notes of black currant, dried plums, spicy paprika and dark chocolate. The taste is warm, spicy, with a long finish.
