Description
Our Furmint is a gift from the historic Nagy-Eged-hegy, the best Grand Cru growing area of Eger. One third of the raw material was fermented in tanks, two thirds in barrels, then matured in second- and third-fill 225-liter small barriques and 500-liter ászok barrels for 9 months, on fine brooms. Its color is pale golden yellow. Its elegant aroma reveals apple, pear, slightly ripe apricot, and white flowers, which are later completed by the limestone and flint so characteristic of the growing area, as well as the sweet cake aroma resulting from the use of barrels.
