Description
One of the most popular aromatic varieties in the world. It is made in several styles, which largely depends on the climatic conditions. In a more temperate, cooler growing area, e.g. Sancerre, vegetal aromas dominate, while in a continental or oceanic climate, ripe fruit aromas are the main ones. The Korma-fölé vineyard, where the raw material comes from, is a growing area with excellent exposure, where healthy, ripe raw material is born for our premium sauvignon blanc. In addition to the fact that the ripeness of the grapes is impeccable, the acids, the soil, and the constant air movement give this wine a beautiful curve and momentum. In terms of style, we can think of a meeting of Sancerre and Marlborough (New Zealand), primarily the aromas reminiscent of exciting tropical fruits lead the nose, lychee, mango and passion fruit, but vegetal aromas are also present, such as nettle and cut grass. The notes reminiscent of elderflower beautifully frame the excellent qualities of the variety.
