Description
The wine is composed of 90% Cannonau and 10% other indigenous grape varieties. Cannonau is essentially Grenache, although opinions differ as to whether the French Grenache originated from the Sardinian Cannonau or the other way around. In any case, genetically they can be considered the same variety. Anzenas is a dark ruby-coloured, rich, juicy, medium-bodied wine. On the nose and palate, forest fruits dominate. It pairs best in gastronomy with aged cheeses and game dishes.
