Description
It was a moderately warm year, and the precipitation was also average, without extremes. September brought particularly cool weather, which was good for the acids, but therefore the harvest of dry wines was delayed. There was no significant difference in maturity between vineyards and settlements, the cool weather resulted in balanced sugar production. The dry furmints are fragrant, have a good acidity, are medium-bodied, and have a relatively low alcohol content. The HUN brand is made from the vineyards of Bányász, Hasznos, Bohomáj, Úrágya, Urbán and Nyulas, using tank technology. The grapes were harvested at the end of September, their fermentation and maturation took place in tanks, the malic acid was largely degraded during the alcoholic fermentation. The fruits of some vineyards were pressed separately, then in tanks and blending took place before bottling. Cold treatment, bentonite clarification (produced locally) and filtration were used during bottling preparation. Its taste is fresh and fruity.
