Description
The small family business is located in the central and eastern part of Italy, in the Marche region, a few kilometers from the coast. They mainly deal with autochthonous grape varieties, and they make impressive, excellent value-for-money wines. Poesia is made from 100% Montepulciano. It is the winery's outstanding product. The grapes are harvested slightly overripe, thus obtaining a concentrated raw material. The juice extraction is modest, but the complexity is impressive. The winemaker must create his poem, Poesia, from such raw material. The aging takes place in large barrels so that the aromas from the grapes primarily dominate the wine. In the glass, it is dense, almost oily, full-bodied, the aroma exudes warmth and a multitude of ripe fruits. The sip shows intensity, roundness, and elegance. A long, substantial wine, worth tasting for a long time, because over time we can get to know new and new layers of it. Awards: Vivino - 4.3
