Description
The small family business is located in the central, eastern part of Italy, in the Marche province, a few kilometers from the coast. They mainly deal with autochthonous grape varieties and make impressive wines with an excellent price/value ratio. Rosso del Poeta is a blend of rosso piceno, i.e. montepulciano and sangiovese, in this case in a ratio of 70 to 30. A real Mediterranean red wine with an exciting, intense aroma, in which ripe red berries are mixed with spices from barrel aging. The sip is warm, full of ripe fruit. An easy-drinking wine, its tannins are velvety and its acids are playful. In gastronomy, it can be paired mainly with roasts and game.
