Description
We have been making vineyard-selected furmint from our Kővágó vineyard in Mád since 2015. Of course, only in worthy, outstanding vintages. 2022 was the first time that our head winemaker Károly Áts and his team produced furmint from all four of our historic first-class vineyards, where Furmint is grown, harvested at the same time, processed in the same way, and with the same tools. All this in order to present the differences between our vineyards in the clearest and most exciting way possible, which we believe can best be known through the wines. Four batches made in the same way, fermented in 500-liter Zemplén oak barrels and matured for 9 months, bottled at the same time, yet four different characters, aromas and flavors with all the beauty of the four exciting terroirs.
