Description
A cuvée made from a blend of Grenache (60%), Syrah (15%), Mourvedre (40%), Cinsault (3%), Vaccareze (2%) and Muscardin (1%). After hand harvesting, the grapes are fermented in temperature-controlled concrete tanks for a minimum of 35 days, following a long maceration. The Grenache is matured in concrete tanks and takes a minimum of 16 months, while the other grape varieties are matured in new and one-year-old oak barrels for a year. The aroma is characterized by black cherry liqueur, ground spices, licorice and minerality. After tasting, we encounter a medium-bodied, clean-flavoured, elegant, yet nicely concentrated, harmonious wine in the mouth. Coffee, fig and Black Forest cake flavours. Rich in tannins, which sufficiently supports the flavours and lends the wine the elegance it deserves. Its long finish makes it perfect.
