Description
3 puttonyos aszú made according to centuries-old tradition: 3 puttonyos of aszú berries are added to a barrel (136 liters) of must from Gönc, then after a slow, two-month fermentation, the essence collected drop by drop completes the process. The wine is aged for 24 months in Hungarian oak barrels in the coolness of volcanic cellars. Aromas of apricot, honey, fig and walnut blend with vibrant acidity, ripe fruit and delicate minerality – the embodiment of perfect balance. It is based on Furmint, Hárslevelű, Zéta and Sárgamuskotály grapes harvested by hand in Tolcsva, on andesite, rhyolite tuff and clayey soils.
