Description
Plot 46 of Szent Tamás contains more than 60-year-old Furmint vines, two-thirds of which are grazed. The soil is incredibly stratified due to volcanic activity, with red clay, weathered zeolite, hard rhyolite and tuff. The stratification is also reflected in the wine made from the plot: it is incomparably mineral, complex, endlessly long and has the potential to age for decades.
