Pieropan is a famous Italian winery located in the Veneto region, specifically in the Soave wine region. The winery's name is synonymous with quality Soave wines and has been under the management of the Pieropan family for generations since 1880. Brilliant pale lemon yellow color. Delicate aroma, with aromas reminiscent of almond blossom and marzipan. Light fruit flavors are made vibrant by exciting acids. Pleasant, long finish. Comes from traditional Garganega and Trebbiano di Soave grapes. Garganega 85-90% - Trebbiano di Soave 10-15% The wine is aged on fine lees, in cement tanks for varying periods, and bottled in the spring following the harvest. Volcanic and calcareous soil, average altitude 50 - 300 m above sea level, west-facing areas. Certified organic cultivation.
