Made from 100% Mencía, this is a concentrated, distinctive wine. The vines are over 80 years old on average, which allows a pronounced mineral character to emerge alongside the intense fruitiness. The palate is dominated by ripe, even overripe plum and other dark berries, unfolding in a remarkably long finish. The four paw prints on the label refer to bear tracks that were once found in the vineyard area.
