2015 was a continental year that blessed us with perfectly ripe grapes, with intense fruity aromas, dense texture and remarkable concentration. It was a spectacular vintage, with a hot, sunny summer, record high temperatures and a glorious end to the season, with rainy periods that helped slow down the ripening. This cool end to the growing cycle resulted in juicy grapes with a particularly interesting, juicy, vegetative character.

Yellow hue with sparkling highlights and a steady, lively flow of bubbles. The nose is clean, elegant, vertical, rich and concentrated. The nuances of ripe fruit combine with exceptional refinement: delicate, delicate citrus peel (lemon, orange) and vanilla (Madagascar bourbon vanilla), as well as warmer notes of baked apple and Tarte Tatin, which gradually give way to aromas of nougat.

The palate offers a marked and unique contrast: very expressionistic thanks to the broad, juicy, almost sensual texture of the clay soil of Cumières in the sunny season, yet decidedly minimalist thanks to the fresh, clean, mineral and mouth-watering backbone associated with the zero dose. The ripe citrus combines with warm stony notes, further emphasizing the mouth-watering, umami sensation. The finish is light, energetic and ethereal.
