In 2022 – adapting to the weather conditions, we harvested in September instead of the end of October at Czurda Vineyard. The already ripe grapes retained their lively acidity and are used as an excellent raw material for making a vintage – millésimé – champagne. For us, it is more important to get the most out of the gifts that nature gives us. CZURDA Riesling, Brut Millésimé, 2022 is a new experiment, made using the méthode traditionnelle process. Instead of the mandatory 12, we keep it on lees for at least 18 months, and the Szigeti Champagne Cellar in Gols, Burgenland, known for its quality, champagnes our base wine.

Tasting:
Light golden yellow, complex and rich aroma. The characteristic Riesling aromas are clearly characteristic of this sparkling wine. Extremely aromatic, creamy texture. It has tempting, small and elegantly sparkling bubbles, long-lasting lively acids, as we have come to expect from CZURDA Rieslings. Vintage sparkling wine of high quality.
