Description
Those who know, are already waiting, but only 600 bottles are available. In 2023, after the careful hand harvest, we worked with less than usual, but more beautiful ingredients than ever before. In addition to the not-too-dry summer and plenty of autumn sunshine, the special microclimate caused by the morning mist helped the Rhine plantation to have a slight dampness. Thus, this year, our Spätlese-type wine, Sweet Temptation, became of outstanding quality, with a more substantial, intense aroma, but with an unchanged beautiful acid structure. Tasting Pale yellow in color, ripe fruits, apricot, pear and pineapple appear in the aroma, spiced with a hint of thyme. The aroma of dried fruits comes from late-harvested but not botrytis grapes and raisins. The perfect balance of bright acids and residual sugar complements the complexity of the flavors, coupled with a beautiful minerality. Precise, classic and complex; with a decidedly long finish.
