Kövérszőlő

Kővérszőlő is an ancient Hungarian variety most closely associated with Tokaj. It is named after its large berries. It produces good quality Aszú, but is also used to make monovarietal wine thanks to its high sugar content. With the right attention, it can result in richly aromatic wines.
