János Bolyki
Eger winemaker János Bolyki has been making wine since 2003. However, he is simply known as Jani all over Hungary. He, his cellar, website and wines stand out from the crowd. You just have to look at his wine labels. He’s a bit of a wild boy. His estate is now 28 hectares, and he cultivates Kékfrankos, Cabernet Franc, Portugieser, Blauburger, Hárslevelű, Sauvignon Blanc and Királyleányka in the Középbérc, Határrajáró, Fertő, Kistibrik, Marinka, Kerékkötő, Kisgalakonyás and Sik-hegy vineyards, from which he produces around 100,000 bottles each year. He has been a member of the Pannon Wine Guild since 2012.
