Tokaj-Hétszőlő
Tokaj-Hétszőlő is named after the vineyard of the same name owned by the winery. The wines of the 55-hectare estate are mainly made from Furmint, Hárslevelű and Sárgamuskotály. The winery was founded in 1991 and is owned by Michel Reybier, who also owns Cos dEstournel in Bordeaux. However, the winemaking and management is in Hungarian hands. Their emphasis is on late harvest and Aszú wines. The aszú berries for the latter are soaked in must. The Rákóczi Cellar in the centre of Tokaj, owned by the winery, is one of the oldest and most significant in the wine region. The estate has been run organically since 2014.
