Holiday, autumn and winter wines are made from black grape varieties, or at least this was the general opinion for a long time. Besides Kékfrankos, Merlot and Bikavér, there are more and more international varieties cultivated in Hungary now, just as ancient Hungarian varieties are starting to be rediscovered.
