Glera
Glera is a significant variety in Italy, where it is used to produce the famed Italian Prosecco. It makes excellent sparkling wine thanks to its fine acidity, but as a still wine is only recommended to those who enjoy high acidity. The variety has been called Glera since 2010, before which it was known as Prosecco.
