Jackfall Bormanufaktúra

Jackfall Wine Manufactory, established in Villány in 2001, has been operating in a meticulously restored Swabian house in Kisjakabfalva since 2003. Jackfall is the village’s Swabian name. The estate is currently 13.5 hectares, but they don’t wish to grow to any greater than 20 hectares. Their main plots are in the Pillangó, Hajdús, Gesztenyés and Bocor vineyards. The winemaker is András Kőszeli. Their wines are excellent value for money. Their reds called Tótágas are great party wines. Jackfall Grand is a Bordeaux blend, although it is sometimes only made from Cabernet Sauvignon, as is the Pillangó. These two wines are only made in the best vintages. Wine region: Villány Winemaker: András Kőszeli Estate size: 13.5 ha Main vineyards: Pillangó, Hajdús, Gesztenyés, Bocor Main varieties: Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon, Syrah, Portugieser, Kékfrankos, Chardonnay, Zöldveltelini, Királyleányka, Zenit, Riesling
