Ambrus Bakó has been closely connected to the Badacsony wine region since 2010. He has acted as consultant for many wineries and now works in his own cellar. He works with purchased grapes, usually sourced from older vineyards in the higher areas of Badacsony. He favours late-ripening varieties and long fermentations. He uses various winemaking technologies to ensure his wines uniquely reflect Badacsony’s terroir.
