Tamás and Zsolt Gere
Tamás Gere has been bottling wines in the Villány wine region since 1988, but his son Zsolt has also been involved in winemaking for a long time. The estate is 35 hectares, but they also purchase a significant quantity of grapes. They make wines from Olaszrizling, Hárslevelű, Portugieser, Kékfrankos, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Franc, Merlot and Kadarka. Their annual production is 250-300,000 bottles. They have three ranges of wine: the Tamás Gere range showcases the classic wines, the Gere Tamás & Zsolt label is for the premium category of wines, while a recently created Gere Zsolt logo is reserved for wines made in small quantities or in a different style.
