Fekete járdovány

Fekete Járdovány is an old Carpathian Basin variety that was widespread pre-phylloxera, e.g. in the Villány wine region. Thanks to various experiments by the Attila Gere winery, it has now reappeared on the market. The first vintage was 2009. It yields a fruity, spicy wine with flavours of cherry and pepper and a long finish.
