Lajos Takács, Hollóvár

Wine merchant Lajos Takács became one of Somló wine region’s most outstanding winemakers. In 1997, he founded the Hollóvár Winery, which became famous for its quality natural wines. In 2014, Lajos returned to Tokaj, so 2013 was the last vintage for the Hollóvár wines. Several outstanding Hungarian restaurants still have his wines on their wine lists.
