Sanzon Tokaj

Erdőbénye, 3ha, biodynamic cultivation, unique wines made in small quantities, this sums up Sanzon Tokaj. In 2014, Tokaj-born Erika Rácz, who life had taken far from Tokaj, returned home to a 0.3-hectare parcel she had inherited and started making wine with her husband. The Erdőbenye winery is close to farming organically and pursue the principles of minimum intervention in their winemaking. They strive for purity and harmony both in the vineyard and the cellar. The unique character of their small-batch wines is determined by temperature-controlled fermentation in tank and the restrained, elegant use of oak.
