Tamás Sike
The Sike Winery cultivates 27 hectares of vineyards. Most of their vines are located on the edge of Egerszólát. Their largest contiguous plot is the 16-ha Szarvas vineyard, also known as Nagyhatár, which boasts a unique location and excellent soil conditions. So, the winery has planted its most important varieties here. Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Alibernet, Kadarka, Pinot Noir, Olaszrizling. The beautifully aromatic Cserszegi Füszeres is planted in the Paptető on 1.8 hectares. They have old-vine Merlot and Kékfrankos in the Tóbérc vineyard in Szólát, as well as a newly planted vineyard where they are experimenting with Viognier and an old dream, Furmint.
