Konyári Winery

The Konyári Winery is one of the best-known and most acclaimed wineries in the South Balaton, i.e. in the Balatonboglár wine region. The family business was established in 2000, the wines are made by János Konyári and his son Dániel Konyári. János won Wine Producer of the Year in 2000, while Dániel won the Young Hungarian Winemaker of the Year title in 2009. Contrary to previous customs, the winery also produces a significant amount of red wine, which is matured in small oak barrels. Their annual production is 230,000 bottles.
