Budai Zöld is a Hungarian variety, which originated in the Carpathian Basin and got its name from the Buda vineyards. Nowadays, it is mainly grown in Badacsony, displaced from around Budapest by the city and phylloxera. The wine boasts high acidity and is juicy and fresh.
